World Wood Day 2021
Virtual Event.

It was quite an honour (and a bit of a shock) when back in February I was approached by the organisers of the annual World Wood Day event, to produce some video presentations for this years virtually held online event. If you have an interest in wood sculpture, it is well worth having a look around the World Wood Day website as from the 21st of March there will be a huge variety of wood related information, videos and tutorials.

I have attended two previous events (held in China and California) organised by the IWCS and they have been quite spectacular and an absolute pleasure to be involved with.

Coming to its eighth year, the WWD International Wood Carving Show is held for the first time virtually due to the current global pandemic. With the passion and love for wood, artists from different countries and regions will showcase their craftsmanship through pre-recorded videos, images, and short clips from 21st of March till the end of September.

Each year a theme for the event is chosen, and this year it is CO2 and wood. Some details are in the video below.
