About the Sculpture
This sterling silver dolphin pendant comes in a good quality black, satin lined box and would make a lovely gift for anyone who loves dolphins. We have sourced a UK silversmith who specialises in producing small, high quality, low quantity castings. The castings are hand chased by Bill.
The pendant can be supplied with a 22 inch silver chain, but alternative chain lengths can be ordered (please allow an extra 7 days if ordering a custom chain length).
Inspiration
Having always loved dolphins, and been lucky enough to have work with them in the past, I always enjoy carving them. I carved the master for this dolphin pendant from box wood which is very close grained and therefore takes the small detail well. From this master a mold was taken, from which the silver is cast (using a lost wax process).
