I was delighted when my sculpture “Ray Mass” was shortlisted for the 2020 David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year exhibition. It is one of the most prestigious events of the year for the wildlife art community and to be shortlisted is an honour. I am pleased to have had my work selected every year I have entered – around 8 years. I was further delighted to be awarded a “Highly Commended” for this piece. In 2012 I was awarded category winner for “Wildlife in 3D” for my “Octopus.”
From this year, all finalists are allowed to use a badge on communications, so look out for this. It will also indicate whether the artist is a winner, or in this case has been awarded “highly commended”.
The Exhibition is currently running in its online capacity until June 28th (follow the link).
50% of all sales support David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation and their vital work protecting endangered species across Africa and Asia. Definitely worth taking a look at the online gallery as there are some wonderful pieces of wildlife art from many different artists.
